Me explico, un día leyendo el foro de DVDVR (se los recomiendo pa los fans de Puroresu, Lucha Libre, o Old School, de hecho de ahí saco casi todos los links xD), decidí salir del subforo de Puroresu y dejar de bajar luchas de Misawa para leer un poco el de Lucha Libre, y saber que ocurría en ese mundo que no veia como desde el 2000. Me llamó la atención de que en todos los foros estaban votando como feudo del año el de Gran Apache vs Billy Boy, no conocía a ninguno de los 2 personajes así que me baje una lucha de ambos, la cabellera vs cabellera y quedé pa la cagaaaaaa. Billy Boy es un tremendo high-flyer pero que además le da dramatismo a sus luchas, pero Gran Apache es un wn indescriptible xD cuando lo vi por la pinta dije "este debe ser brawler" y la verdad es que es absolutamente todas las weas xD es como el Mike Quakenbush de México, funciona en cualquier estilo, contra cualquier rival, hace llaves bonitas, es super buen rudo, tiene una agilidad impresionante para su peso (la Swanton Bomb de Gran Apache es mi favorita del mundo del wrestling), puede ser brawler, hardcore, hard-hitting, etc. Luego de un tiempo leyendo más de él vi que era profesor de lucha libre (igual que Quak) lo que explica su diversidad de estlos.
Hablemos más de su carrera, Gran Apache fue entrenado por Blue Demon y comenzó luchando junto a una generación de luchadores de Fantasía tales como el legendario Super Muñeco, Super Ratón, Super Pinocho, las Tortugas Ninjas, etc. entre ese mundo loco estaba el tag team de Los Apaches, todo esto en los años 80. Luego, Apache viajó a Japón donde se consolidó como luchador y luego como entrenador para llegar en 1997 a AAA.
Como entrenador, Gran Apache se dice que es de los mejores de todo México y en particular es famoso por ser de los primeros hombres en entrenar luchadoras, además trabaja como agente para ayudar a los luchadores que el mismo ha entrenado (de hecho al igual que varios entrnadores como Hero o Quak, suele tener feudo con sus alumnos, o sus alumnos entre sí).
Entre los luchadores entrenados por Gran Apache destacan Billy Boy, sus hijas Faby Apache y Mary Apache, su ex-esposa Lady Apache, Estrellita, la espectacular Ayako Hamada, Macho Pump, Intocable, Niño de la Calle, Oscar Sevilla (ahora lucha como el Ángel), Aero Star, Mini Charly Manson y Némesis.
En AAA Gran Apache ha tenido feudos muy famosos con Oscar Sevilla, con Chessman, el ya de culto feudo con Billy Boy, y con la Real Fuerza Aérea.
Además ha tenido apariciones en Hustle, y ha ganado los títulos mixtos en parejas junto a su hija Faby Apache, de hecho, hoy por hoy, Faby y Billy Boy tienen feudo contra Mary y Gran Apache por dichos títulos.
